A Story of Redemption

Join us as we share our story Gullible’s Travels, an obvious play on words, referencing the childhood story of Gulliver, as it logs years of painful travels, helpless backsliding, powerful victories, and freedom from demonic strongholds.

In the cherished story of Gulliver, he woke up from his sleep in another land and found himself bound with countless little cords — cords that normally would be like thin threads to someone his size, yet altogether impossible to break on his own.

In our writing, Gullible’s cords represent bondages when temptations (no matter how big or small) have not been resisted, or repented of, and in time have accumulated, usually unknowingly or unattended.

Each wrongdoing that is covered and cherished will eventually become like cables that hold us prisoner and render us helpless.

Endorsements

“The book in your hands is a missionary biography, but its more than that.  It is an account of Gods faithfulness to His Word, His servants, and His work of seeking and saving the lost. Seeing His steeadfastness in the lives of Nick and Sue and the others you will meet in these pages gives much cause for the rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord and for the believing that God is still at work doing great things in our world.”

… “Contemplating what the Lord has done in Nick’s life has moved me to tears of thankfulness and joy for our Lord’s gift to save a person, and then to save him yet again! This is truly a story of God’s grace!”

— Alexander Kruse // Senior Pastor // Calvary Chapel Siegen, Germany

“God used a hillbilly, high school dropout form the Ohio Valley to establish one of the largest and most dynamic churches in mondern Germany.  Amazing!  I love this book.  It is like Nick Long himself- raw, shockingly honest, and so encouraging.  It shows us that we, who are just flawed and regular people, can be used by God to make an impact for His glory.”

— Greg Opean // Teaching Pastor // Packinghouse Christian Fellowship

Book Quotes

“I was ashamed, condemed, in denial, bitter, and because my heart was so hard toward the Lord, He couldn’t be seen anywhere in the picture. I was like those disicples alone in the boat: the sky was falling in and the waves were crashing over me. I was powerless, scared and wondering how in the world I was ever going to make it to the other side.”

“That’s okay, though, because I received something else in that visit, something that she had no perscription for, something she knew nothing about, nor probably even believed in; something that didn’t need to work its way in from the outside because it was already there. I just needed to work it out with God’s help. I thank God for that women, though, because without her knowing it, she not only scared the daylights out of me, but she brought me back in touch again with the reality of eternity within my heart.”

“Ministry is far from being done for you, my friend; you just need to get out from under this lie, get right with the Lord, who’s not going to give up that easy, and in His authority, tear this thing down.”

“Faithful love, where
did I go wrong? Was
it telling stories in a
heart break song? Where
Nobody’s right, everyone
Is wrong. Faithful love
Will find you, wrap His
Loving arms around you.
Faithful love, where did I
Go wrong?”

— Nick Long
